Velvit Cabin & Deck Finish
| DESCRIPTION: |
An exterior
semi-transparent wood finish that repels water, reduces
warping and cracking, deters mold growth, while keeping
the natural wood beauty. |

| USES: |
For finishing
siding, logs, decks, lawn furniture, fences and trim.
Apply to bare wood or over semi-transparent stains. |
|
|
| APPLICATIONS: |
Siding, logs,
fences, trim. Apply two coats "back to back". Do NOT
wait for the first to dry. CAUTION: Do not apply the
coats too thin, make sure to use a heavy coat. The second
coat gives additional protection. |

DECKS:
|
Apply
one heavy coat initially. After the deck has weathered
a year, apply another liberal coat.
|

|
| COVERAGE: |
250 - 300
square feet per gallon on the first application. 300
- 350 square feet on the additional application. |

|
| DRYING TIME: |
Under most
dry conditions with low humidity, Cabin & Deck Finish
(CDF) will be dry in 16 to 24 hours. |
| |
|
| CLEAN UP: |
Use mineral
spirits, paint thinner, or brush cleaner. |
|
|
| MAINTENANCE: |
To maintain
finish and protection, apply as needed when weathering
appears. On some new wood, excess moisture from inside
the wood may be released over one or two year period,
thus the wood will accept penetration of Velvit Cabin
& Deck Finish. In this case, reapply CDF when porosity
or weathering is evident. The coat system will give
you adequate protection for many years. This will depend
on climate, type and condition of wood. |

| DIRECTIONS: |
Apply VELVIT
CABIN & DECK FINISH to a clean unpainted and unsealed
surface. Allow wood to dry 2 or 3 days after it rains.
Morning dew should be allowed to dry off a few hours
before application, usually after 10:00 am. TEMPERATURE
should be between 50 and 90 degrees. Apply in the shade,
mix pigment thoroughly, stir often during application. |

| HANDLING
PRECAUTIONS: |
WARNING: FLAMMABLE LIQUID
- HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED - CONTAINS PETROLEUM
DISTILLATES.
Keep away from heat,
sparks and open flame. Use only with adequate ventilation.
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Keep
closure tight and upright to prevent leakage. Keep
container closed when not in use. In case of spillage,
absorb and dispose of in accordance with local applicable
regulations. FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, flush
with plenty of water; for eyes, flush with plenty
of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention.
If exposed to high concentration of vapor, remove
to fresh air. If swallowed, CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY.
DO NOT induce vomiting.
