Wipe on using a soft cloth and rub finish until the color is uniform.
Solvent
Mineral Spirits.
Dry and Cure Time
Due to the way Velvit Gel-Stain is applied, the thickness of each application can affect the drying time. With a thin application, the stain should be dry enough in 1 1/2 to 2 hours to add a topcoat.
